Wheaten / Blue Wheatens
The wheatens started with birds decended from birds originally imported from Frank Brussellman. The birds were very Tosa Chibi like. These birds were crossed with blues that sported from whites when crossed with our original wheatens in order to produce blue wheatens.

Spangled / Mottled
The spangles and mottles were produced when our original wheatens were crossed with black hens obtained from GA. The cross produced both mottleds and spangles and the line has been maintained ever since.

Buff / Silver Columbian
The Buff male bird pictures was produced from breeding whites to wheatens. The whites descended from English imports brought into SC. This male bird was bred to our wheaten and white hens and is the progenitor of the buff / silver columbian line.

Whites / Blacks
Our original whites descend from birds imported from England. The blacks descend from one black hen that is the matriarch of our black line. The whites and blacks have been bred with each other and with our original wheatens in order to improve type.

Pyles
The pyles were produced from breeding whites to wheatens. The whites descended from English imports brought into SC. The wheatens were from the line of Frank Brussellman. The pyles are bred back and forth with the wheatens in order to ensure quality and color.
